4D Systems has come up with the gen4 Internet of Displays (IoD) Series of intelligent display modules with resistive touch. Along with the integrated Wi-Fi facility, the display modules allows users to easily create GUI applications with wireless connectivity. Initially, three sizes have been made available viz. 2,4” gen4-IoD-24T, the 2.8” gen4-IoD-28T, and the 3.2” gen4-IoD-32T; all carrying a 240 x 320 pixel display.
The display modules allow to design a GUI using workshop4 IDE or Arduino IDE software thus enabling simple drag and drop type programming and thereby eliminating the need for traditional coding. Moreover, the IoD display modules serve as an all-in-one implementation of display, processor and touch screen. It also doesn’t require components from multiple sources, thus saving time and BOM costs.
The core of the IoD series display module contains 4D Workshop IDE which allows users to quickly develop GUIs for embedded displays without coding. As the software itself handles the coding for the graphics, it helps the users to access what they are developing during the development process. Consequently, they get to focus upon the design of the application rather than being worried about the low level design.

When it comes to use, integration, development time, quality and price, the display modules offer the best wireless display solutions for cloud and IoT applications.
