Antenna analyzer is a tool used for fine tuning of antennae and troubleshooting it. Now you can build an Arduino based Antenna Analyzer at home, for a low frequency application for less than 30MHz.
The best thing about this DIY is, it is quick and not heavy on your pocket. You need AD9850 DDS module, as the main part of this project and an Arduino micro controller. Buttons, knobs, fancy looking case, are all optional. You will need diodes and an op amp, which you can buy easily over the internet.
Find the schematic diagram in the video given below or in the link. You can start sticking everything on the breadboard before soldering in the parts. Get the code to either get the readings on a notepad or on a spreadsheet. You can decide this depending on your usage of the antenna analyzer, if you need a graph or a tabular data, choose wisely.
You can also put in an LCD to view the data on it. You can set in the ranges and get notifications of the lowest and highest frequencies. Reset the readings by resetting the Arduino. Check out the video and have fun.
