It is a quick DIY task and lets you have a well lit meter, with a few LEDs and a soldering iron. You will need a regular meter which you want to jazz up. You can open it up, from the back and add 4 12 Volts white LEDs around the LCD. Ensure that the bottom ends of the LEDs are in contact with the copper foil. Solder back the parts and test if it’s working.
Fix the circuit installed and the wires for the button.
And you’re done. The light is on for 10 seconds and if the meter is off, lights are off too. Follow the pictorial steps and you won’t falter.
