This project will detail about working of differential amplifier in a circuit. Many electronic devices use differential amplifier internally. A differential amplifier is a type of electronic amplifier that multiplies the difference between two inputs by some constant factor (the differential gain). In the circuit explained here, differential amplifier has been created using IC 741. The pin diagram of the IC is shown below:

This circuit based project can be used to understand working of a differential amplifier circuit. A differential amplifier circuit is an amplifier circuit which amplifies the voltage difference between two inputs. This amplification takes place according to the formula
Vout=[{(Rf + R1)Rg }/{(Rg+R2)R1}]V2 -(Rf/R1)V1
