The story of this project started when a tech-enthusiast wanted to make fiberglass but needed to distribute resin evenly over the surface. the job demanded a roller but getting a roller at odd times was not possible for him. so , he decided to create a roller of his own with the help of a few junk things like medical syringe, anti-cutter or knife, some copper wire, locking pliers, heat source, adardite or super glue, and rubber tape.
The syringe needs to be a 3cc one if you need a small roller, in case you need bigger roller take a syringe of higher measurement. Remove the rubber and insert a plunger back without any rubber. Cut out the end part of syringe tube along with knife, file it to make the edges smooth. Now take flexible or ms wire, you can always take copper wire from any old electrical device by getting rid of the protective plastic cover. Cut the wire into 1” long pieces, take locking pliers and heat the end of the wire till it turns red.
The hot wire will mail down the plunger tip and will pass through the plunger tip easily. Hold it for a moment and then dip it in some water and you will see the wire will get fixed with plunger head. Now curve the other end to keep the plunger up. Roll the syringe u by holding the end o the plunger and keep a watch if the curved angle is blocking the tube or not. Give the finishing touch to the plunger by filing it with the knife.
Last step is to make the handle from the wire that can be taken from the calendar top. You can curve it with the pliers like a customary roller handle. Heat these up again and insert these gently via the plungers.
