Fujitsu has started the sales of cloud-based lending and leasing services from cloud lending solutions in Japan. Known as CL series and developed by US-based Cloud Lending Solutions, it will be deployed and operated as Software as a Service (SaaS) with the support and operations of Fujitsu technicians having expertise in financial systems. This is the first time for Japan to avail cloud lending solution services.
Through these solutions, customers will now be able to set up SaaS-based systems in a quick and cost-effective manner for a suite of business processes related to lending and leasing businesses. Japan’s largest computing software company, ALT Corporation (Yayoj Co. Ltd., subsidiary) is going to be the first customer for these solutions. The company will use these solutions to set up a unique online lending business with trials beginning in October 2017.

The Series is a set of cutting-edge cloud services digitizing a suite of business processes including reviews, contracts, applications and collections. It consists of 5 modules namely-
• CL Originate: It automatically reviews the information submitted by the applicant based on a pre-set scoring model and manages the process until its closure.
• CL Loan: It manages the status claims and collections for the loan amount and the progress of the contract for each applicant.
• CL Lease & CL Collections: These modules aid in managing overdue situations for credit collections.
• CL Marketplace: It supports crowdfunding financing whereby the capital gathered from recruited investors is lent out and the collected capital is returned to the investors.
Using its experience of building financial systems over so many years, Fujitsu is offering the CL Series in combination with total support, including operations and deployment support suited to the customer’s system environment. This allows the migration of traditional systems for lending and leasing businesses, built in an on-premises environment, to cutting-edge cloud systems. Moreover, even customers entering the lending or leasing business for the first time can set up high-quality business systems in a short time and at low cost.
