Fujitsu has recently announced about the availability of the AuthConductor Server, software that adds palm vein authentication functionality to business system environments-both on-premises and cloud services of customers in a variety of business categories.
Its implementation would allow cohesive operation and management of palm vein authentication information as a result of which, customers would be able to integrate personal authentication among various processes of their systems. Moreover, the system facilitates an easy switch from the existing authentication using magnetic chip cards or IC chip cards. This in turn contributes to the promotion of contactless operation while using bank ATMs or making payments with credit cards.

Key Features:
• It is easy to incorporate unlike the previous personal authentication software as it enables flexible system construction suited to the customer’s environment.
• It cohesively manages the biometric information in each authentication environment, thereby saving both time and effort in managing the palm vein information for each system.
• Fujitsu is exploring the possibility of a cloud-based palm vein authentication service to remote authenticate a large number of users of the customer systems.
Owing to the unauthorized system logins, there have been various cases of information leakages and unauthorized money transfers. This has led to the demand for biometric technology that reliably verifies users’ identity while facilitating user convenience. However, it necessitates building management functionality which is difficult to develop and operate.
To counter all such issues, the AuthConductor Server offers highly accurate user authentication along with cohesive functionality for managing and using biometric information for authentication.
