Fujitsu recently launched the Fujitsu Security Solution AuthConductor V2 that makes use of various authentication precesses like palm vein authentication. It guarantees a very comprehensive biometric authentication support to its clients.
Along with this, it will provide a very unified palm vein authentication office environment. Primary highlights of the product include fingerprint authentication, IC card authentication for PC logons, facial authentication, and full scalability supporting use by multiple people from any location.
Release of these upgraded solutions allows Fujitsu to provide exceptional convenience to customers with flexible and secure solutions for a varied range of authentication scenarios and use cases. It will reach the Japanese and global markets by 2020 fiscal.
What led to development?
Biometric authentication is already making lives easier for consumers and businesses all over the world. Its major application areas vary from cashless shopping to tickets travel, frictionless transactions, access to security clearance and membership data management for various events. In the coming years, it is anticipated that firms will keep on integrating various authentication methods for room access management and PC logins to reduce operation workloads and improve convenience in enterprise settings.
Fujitsu is already providing its customers with “AuthConductor Server” software from the last two years giving users a chance to add palm vein authentication functionality to all existing business systems. Fujitsu addresses these authentication requirements by integrating its PC logon authentication solution for enterprise users in its “AuthConductor Server” software along with newly added functions to give out the “AuthConductor V2”.
Key features
- It unifies various in-house authentication procedures with palm vein authentication to simplify processes for enterprise users. Through centralization of palm vein data on the server, the AuthConductor V2 can be used for various purposes like physical access management, PC logon, and printing authentication. This takes away the need for separate registration for every single application increasing the system security and easing up access for administrators and users alike.
- Addition of palm vein authentication to customer-facing business systems. It further speeds up the verification time by 50% over the regular products. This proves the palm-vein authentication much more convenient for high scale deployments.
- The software also provides expansive support for various authentication procedures. Along with the palm vein authentication, this new software provides facial authentication through technology developed by Fujitsu.
- Promises flexibility and scalability for every size of customer group
