Talking about the FWA6706D model in the series, it’s a compact yet full-featured network appliance designed with high performance and low power consumption. It’s equipped with a fanless chassis alongside a small footprint for stable operation. Apart from carrying the dimensions of 227(W) x 142(D) x 44mm(H), it comes with a power adaptor of 40W.
The appliance is well suited for private network, content filtering, network security gateway and firewall and all such fields where heat generation, noise level, and firewall are a big concern. The product integrates a dual-core processor, high-speed DDR3, Gigabit Ethernet, SATA III and USB 3.0 and other rich interfaces in a compact size that is smaller than a B5-size compartment.

Moving on, another model in the lineup i.e. FWA6706R is an entry-level network appliance in a 1U-rackmount form factor along with a smart fan solution.
