In last few decades, Intel has gained a reputation for setting up new benchmarks in terms of performance, connectivity, and product value. Recently, it came up with two new processors extending its two famous product lines – Pentium and Celeron. The unveiled processors are named as Intel Pentium Silver and Intel Celeron processors. Both these are extracted from an Intel architecture codenamed as Gemini Lake. These new configurations have been engineered to set new standards of performance and connectivity for everyday tasks. It is meant for people dealing with online browsing, spreadsheets, watching online shows and movies and other normal stuff. An improved battery life is another feature to be counted on. All these tasks can be performed across a wide number of devices. The new Intel Pentium Silver is capable of performing 58 percent faster as compared to its 4 year old version.
Pentium has finally added a new extension to it after serving customers for years. This new addition will help buyer differentiate between various levels of performance and decide which one will be best to meet their needs. The two ne processors named Intel Pentium Silver and Intel Pentium Gold are based on Gemini Lake architecture are much more pocket friendly than other members of this family. The Intel Pentium Gold processors that are based on Kaby Lake architecture are known for offering best market performance till date.
It is also clear that for all these processors, reliable and fast connectivity is the key. So, Intel will be offering a Gigabit Wi-Fi level connectivity on this platform for the first time. It will also be available with Intel Celeron and Pentium Silver processors. By making use of the ideal 2×2 802.11AC with 160MHz channels, buyers will now be able to get access to super-fast networking that yields a two times faster downloading speed as compared to other systems that use 802.11AC and it will be approx. 11 times faster than systems that make use of 802.11BGN networking configuration. In crux, Gigagbit Wi-Fi will be able to offer fastest connectivity that permits uninterrupted use of devices. The final results include simple collaboration, much faster web browsing, downloading of HD movies within few minutes. These new processors will be able to handle recent updates on content streaming from famous portals like Netflix and YouTube.
