The arena of wireless communication is vast and demands innovation. This project that aims to interface android with pic microcontroller through Bluetooth, exposes heaps of technique to work on this field.
The project establishes communication between a microcontroller and android mobile by enabling it to send and receive data and then using android mobile to easily control other fringing devices attached to the microcontroller. This ideology of interfacing android with pic microcontroller via Bluetooth helped to develop this project called “Auto Pilot Car”.
The foremost purpose of this project is to regulate car steering, blow horn, On/Off head light of a car. Mentioned below is a block diagram that represents complete auto pilot car project. The project requires certain equipment that includes Android Mobile, Microcontroller PIC16F877, Servo Motor, LED, Buzzer, Bluetooth module and Android apps “Blue control”.
To establish connectivity of Bluetooth with Microcontroller, the Bluetooth module is coupled with UART port, in the same manner in which comports are linked. Below, you can find a simple block diagram of interfacing Bluetooth module with microcontroller.
