Littelfuse Inc. recently introduced two series of TVS Diode Arrays with AEC-Q101 certification. Littelfuse has designed the AQHV-C and AQHV series to offer best performing, highly responsive over-voltage protection equipment that have applications across several domains like low-speed I/Os, LED lighting modules, passenger charging interfaces, and power interfaces.
The AQHV-C is bidirectional and AQHV Series is unidirectional in nature. The AQHV-C and AQHV are capable of securing sensitive devices from several overvoltage transients as well as electrostatic discharge. The AQHV and AQHV-C series can smoothly take-in multiple ESD attacks above thresholds stated by international standards without showing any degradation in performance.
The AQHV and AQHV-C Series also dissipate induced surge current above 8A with clamping voltages at very low clamping voltage. The Director of TVS Diode Arrays, Tim Micun, adds, “ As AEC-Q101 qualified devices, the AQHV and AQHV-C Series can ensure maximum reliability in the harshest environments. That makes then a great option for designers who need to replace passive ESD protection or to ‘sprinkle’ protection devices around a printed circuit board.”
You can avail the AQHV–C and AQHV Series TVS Diode Array in SOD-882 (0402) surface mount packaging in quantities of 10, 000 in reel and tape formats.
Key Application Areas:
● Portable instrumentation.
● LIN BUS RS-232 as well as RS-485 interfaces.
● Regularly used low-speed I/Os.
● CAN BUS (drive-by-wires).
● LED Lighting modules.
● Mobile/handheld equipment.
● ESD safety for all automotive electronics.
Main Benefits:
● The ESD protection till ±30kV and a surge protection up till 8A by AQHV and AQHV-C Series will help device makers adhere and surpass industry benchmarks.
● The AQHV and AQHV-C Series will thus extend the life as well as system uptime of equipment.
● The low dynamic resistance of these TVS Diode Arrays promise 60 percent lower clamping voltage as compared to other alternative technologies.
● The AQHV and AQHV-C Series also provide a suitable solution for present-day electronics safety that are full of small-geometry ICs.
