Skyworks recently came up with its new performance MIPI® antenna aperture tuner, the SKY5™9256-701LF. It is a wideband 16-state solution that is highly compact and has been designed to deliver better efficiency and increased bandwidth coverage from 600 MHz to 6 GHz for LTE Advanced Pro for the upcoming 5G standards for a wider range of mobile applications.
Skyworks’s newly developed antenna tuning equipment leverage proprietary process and design techniques for driving up antenna performance while adhering to linearity demands as well as size constraints. The tuner will be able to deliver best-in-class performance for optimization of radiated power across various bands along with it’s 4 x SPST topology and logic control offers flexibility to tune in multiple bands over a single antenna.
Major Features
The major features of SKY5™-9256-71LF are as follows:
● The broadband frequency goes from 0.6 – 6 GHz.
● It has four RF that shunt to the ground.
● Its high resolution is at 32dB @2.7 GHz.
● The voltage supply range is 2.4 V – 4.8 V.
● Package: QFN 10-pin 1.5 x 1.1 x 0.45 mm.
