What Do You Know About Expandable PCs For Rough Factory Automation Applications

The leading manufacturer of industrial panels PC as well as embedded systems, IBASE Technology Inc., recently introduced cities of expandable panel PCs that will be empower by the 6th generation Intel Core™  processors and can be availed in 15”,17” as well as 19” touchscreen displays to carry out plethora of tasks. These are fanless units that come embedded with multiple state-of-the-art features that fuse connectivity with numerous flexible I/O and higher reliability for machine or factor automation and several other rough indoor applications.

These multi-functional Panel PCs have been designed for simple integration and construction in the pre-existing system while offering a very rich set of I/O interfaces with 2 GB Ethernet that backs up EtherCAT master, one RS232/422/485, six USB 3.0, and lastly one USB 2.0 port over the front bezel. All present models comes installed with at Intel Core™ i7-6822EQ, Intel Core ™ i3-6102E, and Intel Core™ i5-6442EQ processor along with 4GB of system memory that can be expanded up to 32 GB. The expansion can be attained in form of two M.2.M Key, mini PCl-E slot, and PCI-E x8 slot.

The panel computers are certified with iP65 ratings on the front end and makes use of Panel/VESA mounting. This one is built with 64GB SSD Drive that works at a temperature range moving up to 50 degree centigrade along with a power input of 12V/24V DC. There are several other advanced features like a 4-in/4-out digital I/O as well as iBASE’s iSMART green technology blessed with EuP/Erp power savings, power resume, and auto power on/off functions.
