This DIY project is exactly what the name suggests. There is a picture, which indicates the weather forecast, literally! In this we connect an RNNG LED strip to an Arduino and control it to indicate the weather forecast behind a picture. Let us see how.
You will need the following components:
· Arduino Uno
· Digital RGB LED Weatherproof Strip
· SparkFun Bluetooth Modem, you can get this from the Sparkfun.com
· Soldering tools
· A lot of 6 inch wires. 5 sets of 4 colours.
· Power supply
· A paper drawing
You can follow the codes and steps given in the blog. Download codes and run them. And you’re good to go. So basically, the Arduino is retrieving your GPS location and getting the weather forecast for you coordinates. This in turn sets off the RGB LED strip set behind the picture. The comprehensive video will take you through the whole process and make this seemingly rocket science project, actually look do-able.
