We talk a lot about RPI (Raspberry Pi) DIYs, assuming that people already know how to use one. Our bad! Today’s post is for RPI freshers who want to try their hands on RPI but don’t know where to start. This blog (link at the end) answers a lot of basic questions like how does RPI differ from other boards, where to start, et all.
To start playing with RPI, here’s what you need:
1. Raspberry Pi 2
2. Micro SD card (and an adaptor)
3. Mini Wi-Fi adapter
4. Micro USB cable
5. Wires
6. Breadboard
7. LED
8. Resistors
And of course, Monitor with an HDMI Input and cable, USB Mouse and Keyboard
You can see below, what goes where and how to connect these components to your RPI.
Follow the steps to format the SD card and install Raspbian. I like how they have named the file as ‘Noobs’ in this tutorial! Once that is done, you can begin coding. Go through the link given below and you’ll be taken care off!
