I am going to try it out, as soon as I am done writing about it!
Are you all not tired of your neighbours, trying to steal your Wi-Fi? Well, we have a solution now. This DIY is going to tell you how to build a router which redirects users to a specific website. Here’s what you’re going to need for this:
· Raspberry Pi, any model is good.
· USB Wi-Fi Adapter
· SD Card with Raspbian
· Wired internet connection
· Monitor and keyboard
Let’s get started!
Boot up your RPI and log in to the console. Install DHCP and an access point package. You can get the commands from the source link. Set up the wireless interface, giving it a static IP address. Set up the DHCP server to assign IP addresses to users when they connect to your Pi. Then you can tell your DHCP server to listen to any wireless interface.
To make your Pi act as a Wi-Fi access point, set up hostapd and upgrade it. Reboot to activate IP forwarding and set the route. This guy, is forwarding all the traffic to People Of Walmart. You can do it to any website. Find out its IP address and save it in the routing information. It’s hilarious!
