Renesas Electronics Corporation has launched Reality AI Explorer Tier, a complimentary version of Reality AI Tools software tailored for developing AI and TinyML solutions in the industrial, automotive, and commercial sectors.Reality AI Explorer Tier grants users access to a comprehensive, self-guided evaluation sandbox. It includes the full suite of Reality AI Tools features for automated AI model construction, validation, and deployment. The platform offers a rich library of tutorials, application examples, FAQs, and community forum access with email support. Users can quickly begin with a simplified click-through end-user agreement.
This new offering is designed to streamline the evaluation of embedded real-time analytics development environments. It allows users to explore pre-built AI applications without extensive setup or support. Renesas Kits such as AI Kits provide sample datasets covering accelerometry/vibration analysis, audio classification, and motor control use cases.
Mohammed Dogar, Vice President and Head of Business Development and Ecosystem for Renesas, emphasized the growing importance of AIoT and customer interest in edge and endpoint AI applications. He highlighted Reality AI Explorer as a no-cost gateway to experience a leading AI development environment, potentially leading to production AIoT implementations.
Integration with Renesas compute products is seamless, with native support for all Renesas MCUs and MPUs through a built-in parts picker engine. Reality AI Tools also supports automatic context switching with e2 Studio, Renesas’ flagship embedded development environment.
