This experiment is in wholesome idea includes the usage of a compatible remote controller, in which some buttons need to be set to perform different action and then you can make your robot perform by just sitting on your couch.
Equipment required
The hardware required here are few. Apart from Sony compatible remote control and an Arduino robot which is already mentioned above, you will need an infrared sensor and a cable to connect the server.
Working of the project
You can begin your project by connecting the IR sensor to TKD2 on the top board. Establish the connection by using the cable provided, then fix the sensor on the board. Once sensor is fixed, upload the example, unplug USB and turn on power. The screen will start now. After starting the screen, use the remote control to send it commands. Then press the buttons you’ve coded to move the robot. You will see received signals and recognized commands on the LCD. Further, if you want to customize your commands, you have to press the buttons on remote control and write down the values showing up on LCD. Change the values to the one you saw on the screen
