SCHURTER has introduced a new family of chokes designed for very high currents. The new current-compensated choke DKUH-1 is designed for currents ranging from 50 to 100A and supports a high voltage of 800 VDC, making it suitable for high-power energy applications.
As energy applications become more compact and efficient, there is an increase in electromagnetic interference in modern electronic devices. To address this, high-performance filter elements are required, and integrating these elements onto printed circuit boards is an effective solution due to their compact dimensions. The new DKUH-1 series of chokes is particularly suitable for applications with high power consumption.
These chokes feature bifilar winding and nanocrystalline cores, enabling them to handle very high currents within relatively compact dimensions. They are designed for high-voltage applications up to 800 VDC. The new high-current chokes are ideal for energy applications such as EV fast-charging stations, battery storage, photovoltaics, and energy converters. They are also suitable for many high-power industrial applications.
The new standard variants are available in small quantities from stock, with larger quantities available on request. More information about available stock of specific variants can be found using the Distributor Stock Check in the table of variants on the Data Sheet.
