Won’t it be awesome if we could transfer stuff to another computer, without using a pen drive or an external hard disk? We say, yes! So today, we will be setting up a simple LAN webserver on the Raspberry Pi. You can use this to transfer movies and music and other files across your network. Here are the steps, stick to them and you’re good to go.
Step 1: Update Raspbian.
Step 2: Install Apache.
Step 3: Make sure your server is running, check status.
Step 4: Determine the IP address of your Pi.
Step 5: Verify the server site. ‘It Works!’ ?
Step 6: Create shortcut for your ‘www’ folder.
Step 7: FTP FTW (for the win), set it up! Or SFTP.
Step 8: Well, you were already done at Step 7.
