The working of the system is simple. The Solar Powered Plant Waterer is powered by Solar Panels which are connected to AAA Cells in series. A custom made stand is made on which the valve assembly is assembled which opens and closes besides controlling the flow of water. To water the plant at even intervals a solenoid is inserted which measures the dryness of the soil and decide when to release the water. The valve releases the water every two seconds, which is about a teaspoon of water in terms of quantity.
