Intel Reveals Intelligent Air Quality Monitoring System with Bosch
In order to address the issue of air quality, Intel has introduced a new Bosch Air Quality Micro Climate Monitoring System (MCMS). The system has been equipped with sensors and software to ensure that the air quality parameters are measured in a rapid and accurate manner. Having access to comprehensive air quality would enable city officials around the world to take quick actions so as to improve the quality of life. As per the 2016 World Health Organisation study on Global Urban Ambient Air Pollution, it was found that 98% of densely populated cities located in economically underdeveloped countries are exposed to the highest levels of urban ambient air pollution. The decline in a city’s air quality would increase the risk of pulmonary and acute respiratory diseases like asthma.
