Intel is soon going to officially introduce its Xeon Processor Scalable Family as the new foundation for secure, agile, multi-cloud data centers. Representing the biggest platform advancements in this decade, the processor family has been architected for exceptional workload-optimised performance and hardware enhanced security. Furthermore, it has been designed for trusted data service delivery and is fueled by significant leaps in I/O, memory, storage, and network technologies. It has been re-built from the ground up to be offered as the successor to Intel Xeon processor E5 and E7 product lines. Carrying unique features for compute, network and storage workloads, it would also incorporate impressive performance gains of up to 3.9x higher scalability.
