After seeing multiple applications of Raspberry Pi, there’s one more. Extremely interesting and user friendly. This project will guide you to make your own media centre, where you can stream movies, play games, music, and view pictures. And all you need is a weekend, to get this up and running. The inventor has coupled it with Kodi, which is an open source software media centre. It is compatible with all operating systems.
You need Raspberry Pi B model, Wifi Dongle, Micro USB for power supply, HDMI cable, USB keyboard and mouse, and Ethernet cable. You start with formatting the Micro SD card and overwrite it with the desired format. Install OSMC; plug in the HDMI cable, SD card and the power supply along with the peripheral devices.
And you’re almost done. Yes!
Configure Kodi Wiki. Enable Wifi connections and enter the commands given in the source link to reboot your system. You can even set up your mobile phone as a remote control.
Have fun with your low cost Raspberry Pi Media Center.
