RSL10 has gained a solid position in the industry for offering the lower power consuming system. This one will absorb only 62.5nW in a Deep Sleep mode or just 7mW in the Rx Receive mode. It has been designed to provide super low-power wireless connectivity to connected wearables and IoT devices like the wellness and health systems. The firm designed RSL 10 SoC for applications that used 1.2V and 1.5 V batteries and supporting a range of 1.1V – 3.6V voltage supply without any external DC/DC converter. The highly-integrated RSL10 also features a 2.4GHz transceiver and a dual-core architecture. It enables the device to be flexible enough to get in touch with Bluetooth low energy rays, custom protocols, and 2.4GHz proprietary protocols. There are several other features of this system, the major ones are as follows:
■ Rx sensitivity
■ A data range extending from 62.5kbps to 2000kbps.
■ Transmitting power range from -17dBm to +6dBm.
■ Top Rx current at 5.6mA for 1.2V VBAT
■ Peak Rx Current for 3V VBAT – 3.0mA
■ Current consumption on 3V VBAT: 25nA in Deep Sleep mode; 100nA in 8kb RAM retention in deep sleep mode, and 0.9mA RX/TX for 7kHz audio BW.
■ Certified Bluetooth 5 with 2Mbps support.
■ 384kB flash memory
■ A highly integrated System-on-Chip (SoC).
■ Complete support to Firmware Over-The-Air (FOTA) updates
■ Available in QFN48 and ultra-miniature WLCSP51 packages.
As for applications, you can always count on following ones:
■ It can be very useful in terms of activity and fitness monitors.
■ Very useful in smart watches.
■ Hearing aids and other hearables.
■ Heart rate monitors.
■ Blood glucose monitors.
■ Lighting applications.
■ All kind of smart locks.
■ IoT related applications and systems.
■ Pulse Oximeters.
■ Continuous Glucose monitors.
