TinyDuino and Arduino
Arduino has provided different platforms and prospects for every technical or non-technical users to explore the widest range of creativity. From simple projects like supporting environment to technical ones like making robots, it has seen all. This post by robmiles.com, has provided another Arduino platform which deals in TinyDuino.
As you can see in the picture above, different boards and a Starburst is giving an idea of scale and the shown devices are Starburst, processor, Bluetooth BLE, Accelerometer and programmer. Further, on top of each board, the tiny connectors are stacked up.
The programmer board can be put into the stack, when one wants to program their device, along with a USB port, whichis plugged into the PC. It is composed of all the necessary pins of a standard Arduino Uno. A tiny prototyping board can also be stacked onto the end of the stack to directly access the signals. The device can be further turned smaller, ifthe programmer board is removed, once the programming of processor is done.
Further, 16 LED array can also be put on the end of the stack along with a circular row of LEDS to program a super-tiny cylon effect. This device can also adjust Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and even motor control boards. As one version of the processor board contains a clip for a lithium battery, one can easily generate self-powered devices.
They are really doable and work as a treat but possibly there is one problem. As the manufacturer has changed their website, all documentation of the devices has moved around and now, it is very hard to find a platform to get help. But most of the boards are of standard technology and therefore once the appropriate Arduino libraries are installed, they will work just fine.
