Wearable Swimmo Smart Watch for Swimmers

Swimmo has created a new waterproof wearable named as the Swimmo smartwatch especially made for swimmers to track their swimming activities using a bit of smart technology on their wrist. They can use this gadget to keep track of data on things like how many calories are burned and distances travelled. Some of its training-centric features are Pace Keeper and Intensity Coach, as well as the maker’s Rotate & Tap control technology that eliminates the need for physical buttons.

This smartwatch is the first of its kind made specifically for swimmers by the Swimmo, the company behind the making of smartwatch. They have also made various wearable in the past that was created for a specific type of user, such as Garmin’s smartwatches for golfers. The Swimmo smart watch is compatible with both Android and iOS and connects to the smartphones using Bluetooth. It can also operate independently of them. Further, it is also compatible with HealthKit, Strava, RunKeeper, and other similar products.

Some of the watch’s tracking features are distance tracking, calorie tracking, swimming speed and pace, heart rate monitoring, and the duration spent on swimming. Like other smart watches, Swimmo includes goal tracking and guidance, as well, and further allow users to compete with other Swimmo users along with other social sharing features.

This excellent gadget is made by Swimmo, the company behind the smartwatch with the same name and the product is available in the market. But this is a crowdfunded project so read policies before making an order for it.
