But what happens when you’re on the other side of the email Pure horror, isn’t it! Waking up to angry customers because your websiteweb pageserver was down, is not a good morning. So here’s an alternative to getting text messages, e-mails and hence angry grunts from your room mate in case your website is down.
This guy here was in this exact same dilemma and decided to make a Raspberry Pi model which will give you visuals in case something is not right. All you need is a wi-fi dongle and some code and you’re good to go. This is good for web pages, which are WAN accessible and therefore can tell you the status of your servers. They are still figuring out a way to access the servers and be notified.
