AMD Fusion is a new microprocessor design of APUs (Accelerated Processing Unit) launched by Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (AMD), an American Semiconductor company. These APUs are advanced processing systems with a multi-core architecture that combines processing and graphical cores into a single processor. Currently two types of AMD fusion based APUs are available – One with its CPU logic based on Bobcat Core and the second with its CPU logic based on K10 Core.
