CAN an acronym for Controller Area Network is a standard developed to exchange data between the microcontroller/processor with other devices in a vehicle. This standard was particularly developed for automotive industry, however now it is being used in other industries like automotive etc as well. This standard was developed by the company Robert Bosch GmbH in the year 1986.
