Yamaichi Electronics Presents QSFP-DD Connector With Flawless Signal Integrity for Data Networking

Yamaichi Electronics recently expanded its high-speed connector product range by bringing-in a completely new small form factor connector for 400 GB data  networking applications as well as other cage assembly mechanical parts.

QSFP-DD is one of the latest small form factors standardized by QSFP-DD MSA. While Yamaichi Electronics is one of the most active MSA members. On an average, the QSFP-DD is quite identical to the present QSFP, however, this one comes with extra contact rows present inside structure design that help in realizing double density by 8 channels for varied electrical signal transmission. The new connector is completely compatible with QSFP-DD MSA as well as the original QSFP.

What More Does It Offer?

It is well known that Yamaichi Electronics carries loads of experience when it comes to designing high-speed connectors. As far as the QSFP-DD connector is concerned, its electrical performance and design structure takes complete advantage of its maker’s expertise and know-how. It has been specifically designed for 400G and 200G technologies and provides full support to 28Gbps per channel NRZ as well as to 56 Gbps per channel PAM4 modulation.Also, its signal integrity considers 112Gbps per channel PAM4 modulation. This ability helps it in yielding the most electrifying performance in market.

  • REACH conform as per the EU regulation 1907/2006.

  • Compatibility with the pre-existing version of QSFP module.
  • Operating Temperature range goes from -20 degrees to 85 degrees Celsius.
  • Durability goes as high as 100 cycles.
  • Test standard: EIA-364
  • Pull-out Force = 50N
  • Plug in Force = max. 50N
