The first aerial photography was done by a French man in 1858. It took him 3 years to design the mechanism and get the first picture, that too from a balloon. This DIY tells you how to build your own quadcopter which you can be used for aerial photography or videography, much quicker. And you don’t have to be on a balloon. Once you’re done, this is how your first flight will look like.
This quadcopter is a little different from the usual ones. Its front arms are angled more towards the back of the craft. This lets you mount your cameras with a clear view. You will need a lot of parts to get through this project. You can get the complete list from the blog link given below. Once you get all the body parts, you can start assembling them with the help of the pictures.
After the hardware, you can start with programming and calibrating the Q Brain. You can manage the rolling and pitching and movement of the quadcopter along with the level it flies at. It is no doubt a long project, but it is definitely worth it.
The inventor has described the whole thing in great detail. Follow the steps and you’ll be good to go.
Say cheese!
