Genovation recently declared that it has started accepting pre-orders for the advanced version of Genovation Extreme Electric (GXE) car. The automotive, at present, holds a world record for being the fastest street legal all-electric vehicle that has a top speed of 205.6mph. Andrew Saul, the CEO of the firm, quotes “We are very proud of what we have accomplished with the GXE thus far, pushing the limits for electric-powered cars beyond what most people thought was possible. The GXE is actually a C7 Grand Sport Corvette that has been re-modified by Genovation to become an all-electric vehicle. The GXE here has a battery management system, motors, batteries, and inverter that is capable of generating power worth 660-hp against a peak torque of 600 lb-ft. The range of this car equals 130 miles on normal driving operations that have 50/50 weight distribution and have been optimized for lower center of gravity. Genovation also claims that the GXE is supposed to have a very eco-friendly exterior composed of green composites.
Though a superb car, the maker plans to project it as a limited edition car and will be producing just 75 units for this model. The buyers need to deposit amount worth $250, 000 with pre-order while the total price of the car stands at $750, 000. The company expects to deliver the first slot of this vehicle by end of 2019. The total design time of this project is 2 years while 1 year will be its build time.
