We all love vintage. So, here’s a DIY hack which lets you convert an old school Fisher Price Speaker into a Bluetooth device. Or you could also use an AM/FM radio set. In this case, Matt has shown how you can convert an old device into a Bluetooth with least of the issues.
There are numerous highly integrated modules available in the market, which make the electronics bit easy. You need a Bluetooth module and a plug and play audio amplifier board. A custom board to convert the stereo output to mono and configure the volume control. An Arduino could be your best bet here.
For this project, Matt managed to modify the existing buttons to make the device functional. This ensures that the device does not lose its vintage feel. Check out the video below and start with your own Bluetooth speaker.
