I would give anything to get a robotic arm to clean my room ,just like you can see in this video. This guy made a robotic arm and is moving it with an Xbox 360 Wireless Controller for Windows. The robot arm can be seen picking up a pen and placing it, in a container! Pretty neat, eh?
So, without much ado, let’s see what all you need for it and get you started. You need a robotic arm, which you can get online. A USB Control kit to connect it to a computer and Raspberry Pi, of course. You can get the Python source code in the link below. You can change the default controls in the code too.
It is really simple, this DIY. You are just tying the controller to the arm. You need a Python file, that listen to event and passes on the command to the relevant motor on the robotic arm. Yes, pretty neat!
