A lot of factors contribute to this, such as, image quality, battery back-up, chassis and several other limitations regarding handling and using it. With a lot of scope for improvement, image capturing and such optical DIY’s are indeed an unexplored avenue. The credit for this incredible DIY goes to Silver Jimny, who decided to put this barrier down and has come up with a build at home camera which is as good as a conventional digital one and is fairly customizable too.
