Garmin has come out with a gadget known as new GPS smart watch which includes Garmin Elevated wrist heart-rate technology.The vívoactive HR allows you to keep record of all active moments throughout the day including counting steps and floors climbed, intensity minutes, monitoring sleep and featuring built-in GPS-enabled sports apps for walking, running, biking, swimming, golfing, paddle boarding, rowing, skiing and snowboarding.
This smartwatch uses 24/7 wrist-based heart rate data in order to give information about the amount of calories burned and the intensity of fitness activities that is required. Further, users can personalize their vívoactive HR by connecting through an IQ store, and use free apps, widgets, watch faces and data fields. The incredible versatility and multi-functionality of the vívoactive HR through wrist-based heart rate and a barometric altimeter allows to track essential data for workouts and day-to-day activity.
As the vívoactive HR provides 24/7 heart rate monitoring through Elevate wrist heart rate technology1, it eliminates the need for a chest strap. It quantifies the intensity of required fitness activities. It also allow users to monitor their progress in terms of aerobic activity goals recommended by leading health organizations.
Other specialties of vívoactive HR’s are that it is always-on, have touchscreen facility and has sunlight-readable Garmin Chroma Display.
