Black box testing or also known as functional testing is a type of software testing which ensures that the software meets the functional and non-functional requirements. The tester just tests the software by giving the valid inputs and checks the software processes these inputs correctly. Also a range of invalid outputs is given to the software to check that the software is able to detect them. Generally, specific knowledge of application/software’s internal structure or design is not required for black box testing.
