A search engine is a sophisticated piece of software that can be accessed through a web browser and by accepting a search query from its users, it results a list of web pages related to the query. In a whole, search engine is a synchronized set of programs that include:
· Crawler or spider which travels and reads all the content over the World Wide Web pages.
· A program that build index of the stored pages with their relevancy with the different keywords.
· Program that compares the search query with the index items and returns the results.
