A thermocouple is a device used to measure temperature. They are made by joining two dissimilar metals. A voltage is produced at the junction of the two metals whenever the junction is heated or cooled. This voltage is dependent on the degree of hotness or coldness of the junction. They are highly used in industries to measure a wide range of temperature.
