Wi-Fi, stands for Wireless Fidelity is a commonly used wireless networking technology. In a Wi-Fi network an electronic device such as personal computer or PDA, enabled with Wi-Fi can wirelessly connect to a network through a wireless network access point. The network access point is connected with the internet through a DSL or Cable MODEM. Wi-Fi uses radio frequency for wireless communication.
