Coilcraft current transformer provides 1800 Vrms isolation

Coilcraft has introduced the CSX7045 series of current-sensing transformers for DC-DC converters, motor drives, inverters and power management circuits. The automotive-qualified series provides 1800 Vrms isolation, turns ratios from 1:50 to 1:250, bandwidth up to 800 kHz and current sensing above 20 A in a 5.3 mm-profile chip-style package. Its low DC resistance helps reduce conduction losses and self-heating in high-current applications.
