Rambus has announced a power management IC (PMIC) designed for LPDDR6 Small Outline Compression Attached Memory Modules (SOCAMM2) in accelerated AI infrastructure. The PMIC supports module-level power conversion, sequencing, telemetry and fault protection for LPDDR6 DRAM and other active components. It is designed to work with the Rambus SPD Hub to support LPDDR6 SOCAMM2 module configuration and monitoring.
